The Mission of the Kouts Chamber of Commerce

The mission of the Kouts Chamber of Commerce works to build a strong business community by promoting the existing businesses and providing a forum in which to express opinions and concerns for our community to improve and remain strong. The Kouts Chamber of Commerce also works to promote Kouts to attract opportunities for the development of new commercial and industrial ventures in our community.

To protect the Kouts business community by continually promoting our members through advertising, events, and forums.

Monthly Meeting Information

Each meeting is held at Birky's Catering and Banquets, downtown Kouts at noon (12:00 pm CST) on the 1st Tuesday of each month lasting one hour. A light lunch will be provided and is included in dues to one representative of member businesses. $6.00 for additional representatives and $7.00 for non-members as guests of KCC members. If you will be bringing a group of more than 5 people, please call KCC office (219) 766-2867 by Monday before meeting to reserve space.

Why be a member of Kouts Chamber of Commerce

The KCC monthly meetings provide an opportunity to network and learn about our community. Chamber meets on the first Tuesday of each month at noon (12:00 PM C.S.T.) All meetings are held at Birky's Catering and Banquets in downtown Kouts. A light lunch is provided through your membership dues for one representative of your business at each month's meeting. Guests are always welcome to join us at $6.00 per person. If you will be bringing a group of more than five guests, please call the KCC office ahead of time so that additional lunches are available. Each monthly meeting will have a speaker sharing information that pertains to our business community. Please plan to attend on a regular basis to share your voice in Kouts Chamber of Commerce.

Advertising and sponsorship opportunities throughout the year are available. Please contact the KCC office for more information.

Each KCC event requires participation of committee members made up from the membership. Your participation is strongly encouraged to ensure the success of these events. Throughout the year, you may be contacted to assist financially or through donation for these events as well. Please check the committee boxes on the following pages and the committee chair will contact you.

Kouts Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Committees

The Kouts Chamber of Commerce is structured to best meet the needs of our members and community. The Chamber has a twelve seat Board of Directors to insure that the responsibilities of the Chamber are more evenly distributed. The structure also enables the Chamber to be more focused and effective. If you are renewing your membership, the chamber wishes to thank you for your continued support. If you are interested in becoming a member, please complete the membership form and plan to attend the monthly meetings where you can begin to gain the benefits of being a Chamber member.
